Not medical advice
Lift Republic provides fitness and nutrition coaching for general health and educational purposes. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Check you're ready to train (PAR-Q)
Before starting, consider whether any of the following apply to you:
- A heart condition, or chest pain during physical activity or at rest.
- Dizziness, fainting or loss of balance.
- A bone, joint or soft-tissue problem that could be made worse by exercise.
- A condition (or pregnancy) for which a doctor has advised caution with exercise.
- Any other reason you believe you should not do physical activity.
If any of these apply, if you are pregnant, if you are over 69 and unaccustomed to exercise, or if you have any doubt about your health, please consult your GP before beginning a programme.
Train within your limits
Warm up, progress sensibly, and stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel chest pain, severe dizziness, or unusual breathlessness. You take part at your own risk.
Supplements & nutrition
Discuss any new supplement or significant dietary change with a pharmacist or doctor — especially if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a medical condition.
