How we verify our content

Our educational content and calculators are grounded in peer-reviewed research and established guidance (e.g. from bodies such as the NHS, ACSM and NSCA). Where we state a number or a claim, we aim to cite a credible source and the year.

We review our published guidance regularly and date it transparently. “Reviewed” means a piece was last checked on that date — not that nothing has changed since it was written. We would rather be accurate than impressive.
