## The short answer

Busy mums get the best results from 20-30 minute sessions 3 times a week (bodyweight or minimal kit), daily walks with pram or kids, and protein-focused meals you can batch or eat with the family. No perfect weeks required — consistency in the real weeks wins. Data-driven coaching adjusts around your life.

## The real constraints (and why generic plans fail)

You are tired. You have no uninterrupted time. The kids' needs come first. Meals have to work for the whole family. Any plan that requires 60-minute gym sessions or perfect macro tracking every day is dead on arrival.

The plan that works:
- Short, effective sessions that can be done at home
- Movement stacked into existing life (walks with pram, squats while waiting for kettle)
- Flexible eating that doesn't create separate 'mum food'
- Permission for imperfect weeks
- Weekly small adjustments based on real data

## The 20-30 minute mum-friendly session (3x per week)

Do 3 rounds:
- Squats or sit-to-stand (holding baby if needed) — 10-15
- Push-ups against the wall or on knees — 6-12
- Glute bridges (single leg when ready) — 8-12 per side
- Bird-dog or dead bug — 8-10 per side
- Optional: carry the baby or a bag for farmer carries or incline push-ups on the sofa

That's 20-30 minutes including rest. Do it during a nap, after bedtime, or while they watch something.

## Daily movement that actually fits

Walk with the pram or kids after school or on the way to the shops. Aim for as many steps as you can get without it feeling like another chore. This is the fat loss volume.

## Eating that works with a family

- Protein at every meal (add extra chicken/fish/eggs/yogurt to what the kids are having).
- Batch one high-protein meal on the weekend (chilli, curry, meatballs).
- Keep easy options in the house: Greek yogurt, tinned tuna, protein powder, cheese, eggs.
- One or two 'normal' family meals a week. Enjoy them. Get back on plan the next meal.

## How we remove the thinking

We build the exact sessions for the time and equipment you actually have. We give you simple meal ideas that work for the whole family. A coach reviews your logs and how you feel every week and tells you the one small change to make. You don't have to plan or guess.

## FAQ

### How do I train with a toddler around?

Do it during naps, while they watch 20 minutes of something, or with them (they can join the 'animal walks' or hold light dumbbells). Or do it after they go to bed. The session is short on purpose.

### What about post-baby body and diastasis?

See your GP or pelvic health physio first if you have any concerns. Start with gentle core work (bird-dogs, dead bugs, glute bridges) before crunches or heavy loading. We can build around any restrictions.

### Can I lose weight while breastfeeding?

Yes, but go slower and keep calories higher than a non-breastfeeding deficit. Focus on protein and hydration. The plan adjusts for this — tell us in the Blueprint.

### I have no time between school runs and work.

That's why the minimum version is 20 minutes. Do it in the living room while dinner cooks or first thing. Walking counts as training too — do it with the kids.

### How do I eat when the kids want chicken nuggets?

Make the family meal and add extra protein/veg to your plate. Batch cook simple high-protein meals on the weekend. One 'fun' meal a week is fine — it doesn't break anything.
